On Sunday we celebrated my mother in law's birthday with a Pirate Theme. We came dressed up as pirates, and they provided bandannas, toy earrings and eye patches. We had dinner and a buried treasure hunt through the yard (they have about an acre of land, and little more than half of it is in the back and is just wild). There were two buried treasures, one was the real prize and the other was rock salt, so they were 'charged' with making the homemade ice cream. Ash had sooo much fun. We cut up an old stained shirt which he still wanted to wear when we got home, and even went to bed with the eye patch. Jeff even made a sword out of cardboard and duct tape!
