Today

Here is little Maci and you can see her hair. This was her coming home outfit. She of course is drowning in it! But it's still super cute!

Last night Ash became so interested in the baby when I started feeding her. He wanted to see her and see what she was doing, he pointed to her hair saying hair, and then would touch mine and his. He even started saying "Baby Aci" he gave her many kisses on the head and hugged me and just leaned on my shoulder staring at her. Today he has been interested too, he came up and said Hi baby this morning, and would go to daddy and point to us and saying 'aci'. It's been fun to see him find interest in her.

That's basically the highlight of the last 18 hours. Maci is always a hungry girl and she is a good eater, just likes to eat. We were up for 3 straight hours last night. I got to sleep for another hour and a half before ash woke up and was upset and it woke up Maci (it was 6am at the time!). So our whole house has been up since before dawn. Ash has been difficult wanting things he knows he couldn't have and not being interested in food. This morning after about a dozen tantrums I was reminded of the Shel Silverstien poem "Little Sister for Sale" hummm toddler for sale . . .

But alas, the house is quiet now. Ash is sounds asleep, Maci is asleep but will wake soon to eat and Jeff is off to work. Ahhhh let's see how long it lasts.....
