Poor Maci Jo

Poor Maci has been sick for a few days. It started Tuesday evening with congestion, but got worse through the night with having a hard time eating. She went to the Dr. weds morning to make sure it wasn't RSV or anything else serious. It was the worst visit either of my children have ever had. They took a pump machine and suctioned out her lime colored mucus (a sign of RSV). She hates it every time it do it with the regular aspirator so she was screaming! Then, they cathed her for a UA, then we had her blood drawn to check for RSV, CBC, and billiruben levels (she is still yellow). THEN they did a chest x-ray. I've never seen how they do this for children and infants, but they strapped her to a board put her arms up around her head and put it in a padded vice. And of course she's cold b/c she only has a diaper one! After a rough day, we found that the Xrays are clear, blood count is normal and no RSV, just a viral infection. Her congestion has gotten better, but has a tiny cough with it today. Poor girl. She seems to feel better all around though, she's not so upset. On her visit, she was weighed, she was exactly 5 weeks on Wednesday, and she weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces! That's 3 1/2 pounds in 5 Weeks! Way to go Maci Jo!

Other than that adding to our crazy days, here is what else has been going on:


Tarzan Ashton. He took his pants off, later pulled his arm out of his shirt, and then took a sock off, and ran around the house like this. So silly.
