more of the kiddos

Maci is now 11 months. I know I sound like a broken record, but wow, she's almost one and the year has just flown by! She is so ambitious and independent, but loves to cuddle and play. She is continuing to teeth those miserable molars, but now has a couple more on the bottom that are swelling and will cut soon. She really wants 12 teeth by the time she is 12 months old. She has known how to crawl onto the stairs for a couple of months now, but never ventured past that first stair. Well she has gotten over that fear and is very quick. She doesn't know how to come back down now. So we have the baby gate up at all times. It is a bit inconveinient to have to climb over it all the time, oh well. Maci has had a fever all week, with the exception of today, but her crankiness still lingers. We took her to the Dr. yesterday, and they couldn't find anything wrong. So we are just waiting it out. Today Maci took 3 steps! She frequently takes one just to get closer to you or the object she wants, but today it was 3! I tried to get her to repeat, she did 2, then I tried again, and that resulted in a melt down. I shouldn't have pushed it, she's been sick as it is!

More about Ash, he loves to play the Wii, and specifically Wii Sports Resort. He knows how to play basketball, sword play, bowling, wakeboard, and archery, of course he's not any good, but he has a great time and asks many times a day to play the Wii.  His favorite part of Sesame Street right now, is "Abby's Flying Fairy School" he is glued to it, and complains when it is over. We've also recently discovered nickjr.com and playhouse disney online too. He loves them. He is huge fans of Dora and Handy Manny, but knows the Mickey Mouse characters, Chugginton, Max & Ruby, Jungle Junction and plays those games the most.  He got a haircut this week (thanks mom!) and looks so much older. He loves ''practicing' to go potty.  He is a sponge right now, I love it!

Demolition has begun! My parents are preparing to put in hardwood floors! So they started taking of molding, and on Saturday, we're having a party! We're ripping out the linolium and sub-flooring, and moving the oven, efridge, tables and more. Life will soon be hectic. We will have to crash somewhere else a couple of nights while the top coat dries (they're doing two layers, so 2 nights). We considered the stores, but according to contract we can't in PC or SL, but Midvale has the best selection anyway.... But we are going to stay at Jeff's sister's house. They have a small spare bedroom we'll put ash in, then we'll crash on the sofas. Thankfully they have like 4! I've been snapping pics of my mom (With her camera) to document it all. It is quite exciting!
