Tracy Aviary

We went to the Tracy Aviary on Saturday. It was free for UEA weekend as a thank you. I love going there, it's been a couple years so it was great to see all the updates. We forgot our camera, and were close enough to go home and get it, but we were crunched for time because of General Conference and Priesthood. Again, it was great, there were tons of people there, the weather was jacket weather, but not breezy, plenty of animals were out. There was part of a South American exhibit were you could go in the cage and see the birds that were hoping on the ground and flying over your head. It was really neat. Ashton loved seeing all the birds and was excited to see them moving around. The Condor in it's cage was on the ground picking at weeds and sticks, and was at the corner of the cage, so we were able to get very close! After we went through the gift shop (which used to be anything but) and they had an area were you could color pictures of birds, trace leaf templates and look at books, so neat. Ash loved coloring a Toucan. We got him a little bird whistle that he just LOVES and a peacock finger puppet. It was a wonderful family outing.
